DERMAL FILLERS GOLD COAST

Dermal fillers are a non-invasive treatment used to restore youth and volume to the face. As we age, our skin begins to lose its elasticity and natural hydration. This, combined with the effects of gravity, can lead to lines, wrinkles and sagging of the skin. Fillers are an excellent option to restore volume to the lips, chin, cheeks, jawline, temples and hollowing under the eyes. This process is administered via tiny injections and the results are visible instantly.

Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications if possible for a period of 2 weeks before treatment. Medications and supplements such as aspirin, vitamin E, green tea, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, St. John’s Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements, Ibuprofen and NSAIDS have a blood-thinning effect and can increase the risk of bruising and swelling after injections.

Do not rub or massage the treated area for the first 24 hours after treatment, it is also important not to allow any direct pressure on the area such as sleeping on the face or face-down massage, extreme temperature changes, strenuous exercise, exposure to prolonged sunlight, and excessive alcohol use in the 24 hours after treatment.
