PDO MONO AND PDO COG THREADS
PDO THREAD LIFT GOLD COAST
A Gold Coast PDO thread lift treatment is a non-surgical treatment which uses a fine specialised thread to stimulate the natural production of new collagen, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, tighten the skin and enhance skin texture and facial contour. Common treatment areas include the nasolabial fold, jawline, corners of the mouth, marionette lines, neck, stomach and knees.
Treatment details
Each thread procedure takes around 30-45minutes. During the procedure, the ‘threads’ are inserted under the surface of the skin into the sub-dermis. We use local anaesthetic topical application as well as injection to help minimise any pain. The procedure is mildly-moderately uncomfortable.
For PDO Mono Threads, Initially recommend 2-3 treatments spaced 8 weekly then one maintenance treatment per year for optimal results.
For PDO Cog Threads we recommend having one treatment every 6-12months.
The results of PDO Mono and Cog Threads last 12-24 months however this may be for a longer or shorter period depending on the individual.
Anyone above the age of 18 however this treatment is generally indicated for 30+ age groupThreads are not suitable to have while pregnant or nursing.
Our price for PDO Mono Threads is $10 per thread.

Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications if possible for a period of 2 weeks before treatment. Medications and supplements such as aspirin, vitamin E, green tea, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, St. John’s Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements, Ibuprofen and NSAIDS have a blood thinning effect and can increase the risk of bruising and swelling after the anti-ageing injections. Facial tenderness is also common for up to 4 days but should not require more than mild analgesic.
It is normal to experience some pulling for the first 3-4 days after having PDP Cog threads but uncommon for this to last more than a week. It may be best to avoid very chewy foods for the first 2 days. Cold Pack on face as tolerated and required. Any asymmetry after 14 days may be managed with a further thread or filler.
